All Foreign Passengers Must Carry:

  • Original, valid Passport or Passport Card
    A copy must be e-mailed to us 30 days before your trip
  • FMT Card issued by Mexican Immigration
    Will be given to you in an international airport or border crossing
  • If required, a valid visa for visiting Mexico

Mexican Passengers should carry:

  • A valid identification with photo. INE or equivalent.

All Passengers Must Carry:

  • Valid SCUBA diver certification card
    Mandatory except for Guadalupe White Shark surface cages.

GET DIVE TRAVEL INSURANCE!

It is MANDATORY to have with you a Travel Insurance Policy that covers all expenses, DAN only covers evacuation and treatment in case of an accident.  It is mandatory to have a travel insurance policy to cover all expenses including evacuation, as in the event of a cancellation for any reason, there will be no reimbursement.

    Nationals of the following 67 countries and jurisdictions holding normal passports do not require a visa to enter Mexico as tourists, visitors in transit or business visitors. Tourists and business visitors can stay in Mexico for up to 180 days. Visitors in transit can stay for up to 30 days.

    It is of utmost importance that in order to enter Mexico you should have a valid passport. If entering by land, one charge of USD 25 will be required to pay once you arrive into the country for getting a valid FMT card. For passengers arriving via air, the cost of the FMT card is in your plane ticket fare.

    Please check with the Mexican Embassy in your country if you need a visa to enter Mexico.
